SMTD Student Advisory Council

During the academic year, the SMTD Student Advisory Council will meet monthly with the SMTD Director. Members will receive updates on ongoing SMTD projects and policies, as well as serve as a forum to discuss issues that directly affect students.

The council will be comprised of six undergraduate students and one graduate student as follows:

  • 2 undergraduate students from Dance
  • 2 undergraduate students from Theatre
  • 2 undergraduate students from Music
  • 1 graduate student from Music

Nominees must be matriculated into a CSU SMTD degree program, and must be be full-time students during the semester of service. Nominees must hold a 2.8 GPA to be eligible.

Nominations are made by faculty; interested students should discuss their interest with a faculty member in their area.
