The Runyan Music Hall is a flexible space equipped with a SMART computer screen system and sound and lighting equipment.
The space is named in honor of Emeritus Professor Dr. William Runyan.
The room is heavily used by the Ralph Opera Program, choral students, and music education students.
The building's original maple floors provide a lovely acoustic response and heavy curtains allow for additional acoustic adjustment.
The hall, as well as the entire building, is furnished with more than 75 high-quality pianos distributed throughout the performance venues, rehearsal spaces, and practice rooms, including many new Steinways.
